How to play Mini Golf

Try Mini Golf at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.

Read before acting

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Aim a stopped ball.
  2. Set power and putt.
  3. Wait until it stops before another shot.
  4. Use Next hole after sinking.

Controls

Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.

A useful example

A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Keep the controls nearby.

Watch out for this

The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
